Went here for a motorcycle MOT. Walked in and advised to go back in half an hour which was great, no booking needed, but... None of the MOT tests were carried out. The mechanic stood with me and we had a chat, he smoked a cigarette while doing a visual inspection of the bike (crouched down next the the fuel tank...)No break tests done, no lighting, indicator or break light tests done. No steering bearing test done. No suspension tests done. No check of the horn, he didn't even turn the ignition on. Charged me 20 to stand next to the bike for half an hour and talk about trackdays and heated grips. Before disappearing into the office and coming out with a certificate.If you've got a broken motorcycle and need an MOT certificate then go to this guy.But I'll be taking mine to RAD in Northampton in future.
Website says open Saturdays. I ring up and book. Arrive and they are fully locked up. Wish I could give a negative score.
Honest and reliable, obviously very knowledgeable as sorted a problem with my clutch pedal when others couldn't. Reasonable price for my brakes too, would highly recommend.
The worst experience I have ever had with a garage, owner rude through out, he had the car 4 days without attempting to work on it even though he said he would on the first day we took it. he claimed he had diagnostic equipment but in the end confirmed he did not . Took to another garage who fixed it in 30 minutes. Avoid total car care garage at all cost !!!!!!!
Called them regarding a historic service on the service history of a car I recently purchased. Incredibly helpful chap who told me everything about the car I needed to know. I will bet they are a very decent place to take your car to.
