Had a really lovely time here with my friend for a much needed girlie catch up. Julia, the spa manager was very helpful and accommodating and ensured our day ran smoothly. I had a massage with Bethany whom I highly recommend, as her massage techniques and professionalism were outstanding. The food in the restaurant was absolutely fantastic and the restaurant staff are all very friendly and service was to a high level. I would particularly like to mention Martin, Simon and Clem. They really made us feel very welcome, relaxed and comfortable whilst dining in the restaurant and in the bar after dinner and catered for our ever need. We played board games and Simon helped us through a wide selection of Gins! He was very knowledgeable in his field. Looking forward to returning. Many thanks for a wonderful experience.
Lovely wedding had a great time. The grounds and buildings are great. However the food was average at best I have had better at chain pubs, bland and very boring.
Lovely stately home.... lounge and bar area very nice.... and staff very professional and efficient.Standard double room was a little basic and dated... the room rates do not reflect the standard in my opinion. The spa is adequate.... the treatment rooms are lovely etc but cafe area very limited with only 3 tables....you have limited space around the pool to relax The grounds and main house are lovely and the staff are a great contribution.
A lovely hotel at a stunning site with good food and friendly staff. Oh rooms were very good as well. Had a great stay at a corporate function catered at the hotel.
Excellent hotel. Wonderful old building, well restored. Bedrooms and public rooms very comfortable and the food served both at dinner and breakfast delicious. All the staff were friendly, helpful and very professional.
