Much smaller choice of food than on our previous visit. Service was not very good. We haven't been asked if he would like another drink or dessert after our main meal. We were asked to leave (party of 8) at 8.15pm as they closing even though website states that they are open until 9pm.
Almost 40 minutes to have our food order taken, and when it came out it was cold for some people. They had also run out of onion rings, and the new menu is lacking some old favourites. The food itself was nice when it finally came and was hot, but the immensely slow service and multiple service issues ruined the overall experience.
The service was very poor, the food came out cold, many people just got up and left and the staff were turning customers away as they couldn't cope. The managagement need to invest in staff and the business as it can survive in the town but is going down hill fast and not the staffs fault they try their best and are at the sharp end.
Won't be returning, shockingly bad quality food. Ordered buffalo wings for starter which we sent back as they were overcooked and dried out. One of the mains we ordered was surf n turf with a 12oz rump steak, to be cooked medium. When it arrived it was two what looked like thin cut sandwich steak pieces, cooked to the point where they were like old bits of leather. Returned it, the replacement was better but still two thin slices of poor quality steak. Could make a better meal at home for a fraction of the price. Ruined date night, never again.
Obviously the kind of food you would expect at an American themed "diner"- burgers, pizzas etc. but there's also some nice fish dishes. The house made fishcakes are very tasty. An extensive range of meals at reasonable prices. Good place for kids to eat too.Recommended.
