Mark Belcher valued my property, I sensed he had very little enthusiasm about it, as his demeanour was very lack lustre, so unsurprisingly I decide to go with another agent, the one that showed some enthusiasm, I rang m Belcher to tell him I would be using the other agent, in desperation he kept me on the line for nearly 10mins, he was angry, argumentative, and talked over me the whole time, I tried to explain nicely my reasons for my decision, but after being talked over and treated like a stupid woman I told him the truth, that his attitude stinks, anyway its a shame as we've decided not to sell yet, but I would have probably used him in the future, but not now after his aggressive/stroppy behaviour, he is sooo scared of competition, but being angry and desperate is no way to attract future clients, so in short use him if your only going with his valuation, but for a quiet life don't dare mention if your having a second valuation, I just hope he had clients in the office, when on the phone arguing and shouting at me, it was childish, and totally unprofessional.
We have bought through Mark Belcher Estate Agents twice and are in the process of selling through them also. Nothing has been too much trouble for them and Katy, our negotiator has offered a service that has gone above and beyond. When we could not get a response from solicitors she was quick to chase up any queries and get things sorted rapidly. Fab service would definitly recommend
Not sure which agent Mr Jones was reviewing but Mark Belcher Estate Agents do not handle lettings or block management. They only deal with sales.
Mark's a really experienced estate agent, he's been around for years, knows the area extremely well. And offers useful advice. He's handled two sales for me no problem. He also knows where to go for advice on solicitors, mortgages, surveyors etc. If you're buying or selling he's worth a call.
Dishonest, took advantage of us as First-Time Buyers, tried to swindle us by saying he knew more about surveying than the surveyors in the homebuyers report. We advise to avoid at all costs.
