Well our food was pretty much ok but we had to wait an hour and a half for our pre-booked group of six to get fed. The staff were pleasant and very apologetic but the problem was they were simply too few for a Saturday night. The pub manager is clearly not up to the job.
Popped in for an early dinner. Had a bit of a wait but the food was very nice. Good value too.
A family friendly pub restuarant. Went for Sunday Lunch in a large group. Extensive menu at value for money prices. Not often can you find great pies on Menus but the Queen caters for pie lovers. Great service and great food abound here at the Queen.
You can't eat the roast potatoes as they have been kept warm in an hot oven (armoured plated to say the least, not even real roast, frozen aunt Bessie type) The sprouts and the carrots are two shades off raw (not edible) Waste of 12 and the service was second to absolute useless. Never eat there again. I would give them a score of - 5 stars if it was possible.
The food menu has something for everyone and I heard no complaints for any of the 18 people that had food. It's all reasonably priced too. The bar staff looked a tad unhappy but generally helpful whereas the waitresses were amazing and really interactive. We would visit again.
