Not too bad a place. If the right people are there then enjoyable evening. Sociable too and bar staff helpful.
Had a birthday party here last night, staff were very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble food was really good too, Dennis was at hand throughout the night ensuring that we all had a great time. Brilliant atmosphere, brilliant karaoke/disco we loved it so much that we have already booked a 21st birthday party in a couple of months time. Thank you to Claire, Andy and Dennis for going the extra mile from start to finish

Walked in after their "renovation" and pretty sure it was the set of shameless as Frank Gallagher was having a pint at bar. What a spit and sawdust pub. Cheap pint.
Great place to go and a good feel once your in there. It has been taken over by new owners and what a difference they are making. not only have they made the inside look a lot better than before but they have also cleaned all the slabs outside to make the whole place just stand out. They even have a bouncy castle for the kids and live music near enough every week and it is away from the town so you can have a few quite ones.
